My wealth of knowledge includes infertility, fertility preservation and fertility-enhancing treatments, with particular areas of expertise: oocyte cryopreservation (egg freezing), in vitro fertilization (IVF) and embryo banking. I am here to help with your diagnosis and decision-making.

As a board-certified reproductive endocrinologist, I have been involved in the treatment of over 35,000 infertility and 6,000 fertility preservation patients. My practice offers counseling on a full range of assisted reproductive technologies, including:

I am also a reviewer for three major peer-review journals in our field, Fertility and Sterility, Reproductive Biomedicine Online and The Journal of Assisted Reproduction and Genetics.

I have received numerous awards for my research, including a $1 million grant from the National Institutes of Health used to study “A Systems Biology Approach to Mammalian Embryogenesis.” I am board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN) as well as in reproductive endocrinology and infertility (REI). I earned both my bachelor’s degree of science (B.S) and doctorate degree of medicine (M.D.) from the University of Vermont, after which I completed OB/GYN residency and REI fellowship at the Weill Cornell School of Medicine.

My clinical and academic career spanned 30 years including academic and clinical positions at Weill Cornell School of Medicine then New York University (NYU) and Northwell Health/Hofstra School of Medicine. Most recently, I served as a Regional Medical Director at Kindbody in New York City. Soon, I plan to establish an interactive consultation service for those individuals interested and in need.
